Besides writing the speech, choosing a wedding band is one of the most stressful tasks a groom will be trusted with. I'd wasted hours of works time listening to samples of bands singing uptown funk over and over. I struggled to find one that ticked all the boxes but also within budget.
We then came across Pedal Tones at a bliss show and knew straight away from their live performance they were exactly what we were looking for.
They exceeded expectations. Communication up to the day was excellent, they even learnt a song last minute (and nailed it on the night). By the end of the night they had everyone young and old up and dancing. The band performance was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

FREE PLAYLIST SERVICE AND DJ ADD ON
Our different lineups pride themselves on keeping your dancefloor full - from the moment we kick off with the first dance, all the way up until the last song of the night.
To make sure there's never a moment of awkward silence, we include a free playlist service with all of our different band lineups. This means we'll take care of the music before we play, in between sets and up till 12 midnight - later finishes are available on request. You can have us use our pre-made playlists - or feel free to send across your own!
As an experienced Wedding Band, we can also host your evening too. If your venue doesn't include a DJ or toaster, and you haven't got a master of celebrations - don't fear! We can take care of this for you, taking care of all the important annoucements throughout the evening.
Side note: If you've got someone to take care of these things for you - don't worry - they're more than welcome to use our microphones if needed, just let us know in advance!
If you're looking to upgrade the playlist service, we have an add-on to provide a manned service throughout the night, meaning we can take requests from guest throughout the evening. This makes for the ultimate evening package, making it one of the best wedding music experiences Liverpool has to offer!

A lot of the couples that choose to book us as music lovers at heart. They're looking to book a live band for that unforgettable experience - and may want us to perform a special version of their first dance. We're honoured when asked to perform your first dance live- we know it's a really special moment and love sharing it with our couples. We're more than happy to learn your first dance with any of our different lineups - as long as we have enough notice to learn it!

Absolutely love the original artist's version of your first dance? Don't worry! We can get everyone gathered round the dancefloor and get the original recorded track through our speakers. It's quite common for us to kick things off after the first dance too!
​
You're more than welcome to have as many requests for the playlist service in advance of the night. As an added bonus, if we're not playing your first dance as a live band, we're happy to learn a special song for the occasion instead - whether it's a must have party tune, or a special song to get you and your friends and family together one last time on the dancefloor before the night finishes.
Acoustic Duos
As experienced daytime wedding musicians, we know how to set the perfect musical accompaniment for your drinks reception, or wedding breakfast with our acoustic duo. We can provide up to 90 minutes of perfectly selected tunes to serenade your guests as they mingle during the drinks reception or dine on delicious food during the wedding breakfast.

We also include our free playlist service whenever we're booked for the daytime, too. We'll take care of the music whenever we're not on stage, with our own tried and tested background playlists, or you can send us across the songs you'd like us to download!

As another added bonus of booking the acoustic duo, we'll also happily lend you microphones for speeches, if you choose to have us around for this part of your day. Just let us know in advance when booking the acoustic duo and we can get microphones setup so everyone can hear one of the most important parts of your day - the speeches! This useful for venues across Cheshire where the venue doesn't have a sound system already in place.

The Pedal Tones played at our wedding on 31st May 2021 and we couldn't have asked for a better band- they stuck with us through 2 date changes, keeping in touch so we knew we could rely on them. They learned 2 new songs at our request for both my walk down the aisle, and our 1st dance, and both versions were so so good we had so many compliments from all our wedding guests. They played a beautiful acoustic set for our register signing and drinks reception, then a full set in the evening of a perfect range of songs that got everyone up and dancing!! FAQs
How do I book a Wedding Band in Liverpool?
To book in, simply fill out our contact form and we'll get you a quote within 24 hours, usually much sooner. You'll receive a bespoke quote with all of the packages and add-ons available, which will be linked in your personal online portal. Once you've selected the options you'd like, the booking system will run you through the rest of the preocess.

Please note, you'll need to complete all of the relevant documents as well as 20% of the booking fee towards the final balance to secure everything - but once that's all completed, you're booked in!
How much do Wedding bands in Liverpool cost?
Date, length of performance, band size and add-ons all influence the final cost of a wedding band. Being based locally in Liverpool means we can keep our prices competitve. Our peak 2024 prices start from £1200 for our 3 piece band, and we include discounts for off-peak dates and midweek weddings!
